
Carroll County, Tenn.–Numerous fire departments, including the Henry Volunteer Fire Department, are at the scene of a house fire on Clear Lake Rd. in Carroll County.
The fire started overnight and Jesse Joseph of the Carroll County Observer said McKenzie, Macedonia and Mixie firefighters were called to the scene. The home is a double-wide and is a total loss, but thankfully there were no injuries.
Joseph said, “A little less than three hours after firefighters cleared the scene, the home on Clear Lake Rd. reignited, and is now a total loss.”
The Henry VFD and firefighters from Huntingdon also have been called to the scene as they continue battling the fire.
Joseph said the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office and EMS are on the scene and a few firefighters have been treated for heat exposure.
