There will be fireworks in Henry County on the 4th of July–at Paris Landing State Park, the the 50th Cottage Grove Freedom Festival and at Country Junction Resort in Springville.
Paris Landing State Park and the Paris-Henry County Chamber will hold the annual Fourth of July fireworks display at Paris Landing, with the fireworks beginning at sunset Friday, July 4. The fireworks will be set off in the beach area.There will be food trucks on site during the evening. The Paris Landing fireworks are funded by the Henry County Tourism Authority.
At Cottage Grove, fireworks will cap off a day of activities for the 4th of July. The fireworks will be set off around 9 p.m. The day begins with a grand parade at 10 a.m., at which Fire Chief John Weiher will be Grand Marshal. Other activities throughout the day include cake walk, International Firehouse Kitchen, concessions, tug-of-war, DJ music, hay rides, Country Store, and much more. And about those concessions–they serve the best soft serve ice cream and burgers you’ve ever had.
At Country Junction Resort at 221 Lakeshore Dr., Springville, fireworks will begin at 9 p.m.
