Paris, Tenn.–Thursday marked an exciting milestone, as Paris Board of Public Utilities and TEC officially cut the ribbon at the first business to light up Henry County’s new fiber optic internet service: Perry’s BBQ in Paris. Even with Thursday’s extreme heat, a large group were on hand for the ribbon-cutting and lunch at Perry’s.
The event was attended by members of the Paris-Henry County Chamber of Commerce, whose officials said, “This launch represents more than just faster internet – it’s the beginning of a high-speed future for local businesses and homeowners alike. With fiber optic service rolling out across Henry County, stronger connections and new opportunities are on the horizon.”
Chamber Director Leslie Henegar said, “Congratulations to Perry’s BBQ, and thank you to BPU and TEC for investing in the future of our community! To receive more updates and pre-register, visit: www.tec.com/paris-bpu”
