Paris, Tenn.–A car is a total loss after it started on fire Wednesday morning in the parking lot of the strip mall on Volunteer Drive in Paris. Paris Fire Department Assistant Chief Chuck Wade said the driver of the car was unaware the car was on fire as she was inside one of the shops for an interview. Cause of the fire is undetermined. Quick response by firefighters kept the fire from spreading. Two fire trucks with firefighters were on site for about 20 minutes, he said. (Stephanie Zuckschwerdt photo).
