The ‘stars’ shone brightly at the annual Union City Elementary School 2nd grade musical.
Approximately 120 class members – many of whom dressed up as famous movie characters – performed Lights, Camera, Action’ for three smiling audiences on Tuesday.
Delayed from its originally scheduled date due to weather issues, the production was well worth the wait for the many family members and other students who attended the performance.
Several students were attired in outfits that made them identifiable with movie roles from the past. They sang a handful of snappy tunes that brought delight and regular applause from those in attendance.
UC Elementary School music teacher Katie Tohn directed the annual event and lauded the work ethic of involved students during several weeks of rehearsals.
