
Murray, Ky.–A Murray woman has been arrested in Murray on charges of attempted murder and strangulation.
On Thursday, around 10:36 AM, the Murray Police Department responded to a residence on the north side of the city in reference to a report of someone being stabbed.
Upon arrival, officers located an individual who appeared to have been stabbed, and they began providing her with first aid as other officers began searching for the suspect. Officers soon detained Crimson Jackson, age 31, of Murray, KY.
Through investigation, officers learned that Crimson Jackson went into the victim’s residence without the victim’s knowledge and attempted to kill her by stabbing and strangling her. Ms. Jackson also attempted to obtain money from the victim. Crimson Jackson was arrested and lodged at the Calloway County Jail on the following charges:
Attempted Murder
Robbery 1st Degree
Strangulation 1st Degree
Burglary 1st Degree
