Paris, Tenn.–The city of Paris has announced that now that we’ve reached the peak of leaf season, the city will be switching to a route system for leaf pickup.
Here’s how it works:
They use their vacuum trucks to collect leaves in different areas, starting with Zone 1 and Zone 2. After those two areas are finished, the trucks move on to Zone 3. It typically takes about a month to cover all the zones. Once all the zones are completed, the process starts over.
