Union City, Tenn.–Hundreds of Union City Energy Authority were without power last night after a vehicle struck a pole in front of the Reelfoot Walk-In Clinic.
Energy Authority officials said, “We want to thank our customers in the Southeastern portion of our system for their patience and understanding with last night’s outage. We want to also thank Union City emergency personnel for securing and assisting the line crews to provide a safe area while they restored power to 100’s of our customers.”
Last night, a little after 10 pm a vehicle struck a pole in front of Reelfoot Walk-In Clinic.
According to officials, crews were on site shortly after the wreck, accessing damage to the line pole and gathering material to restore power. UCEA line crews restored power to all affected by this outage a little before midnight.
