Union City, Tenn.–A select group of third and fourth graders from Union City Elementary School was rewarded recently with a trip to Discovery Park of America as part of the school’s Discovery Kids program.
Faculty and staff nominated a dozen students from the third and fourth grades to travel to DPA and enjoy a fun-filled day after their exemplary behavior over the first nine weeks of the 2024-25 school year.
The honorees – many of whom wore Union City Schools spirit wear to show their Tornado Pride – had been lauded by school staff for displaying excellent behavior, character, and classroom work ethic.
