Paris, Tenn.–KPAC Players announces auditions for “It’s A Wonderful Life – A Live Radio Play” to be performed on December 20 and 21. This beloved American holiday classic comes to captivating life as a live 1940’s radio broadcast as adapted by Joe Landry. An ensemble cast brings the story of idealistic George Bailey as he considers ending his life one fateful Christmas Eve. With a bit of Divine intervention, however, George is granted a new lease on life.
“It’s a Wonderful Life” is based on the story “The Greatest Gift” by Philip Van Doren Stern.
Adults and Teens age 16 and older may audition. The production is a straight play, not a musical. Here is a fabulous opportunity for folks who love acting but are not quite comfortable with the singing and dancing of a musical production.
Auditions will be held on Thursday, October 24, beginning at 6:30 pm. Rehearsals will be on Monday and Thursday evenings, beginning November 11. Email kriderpac@gmail.com to request an audition time and an audition packet or call Rhonda at Paris Civic Center, 731-644-2517, if you have any questions.
