The Cumberland K9 Search and Recovery teams are making a difference.
As we reported last week, team members and K9s River and Charlee were deployed to East Tennessee to assist in recovery after the massive flooding from Helene. Team members said, “It is hard to say how far and wide the path of destruction is. Our team was actually sent to differently counties for best coverage.”
They arrived Sunday and the last of the team got home last night. They worked multiple areas for three days.
“All of our handlers couldn’t be more proud of our K9 partners. There was 1 recovery made by River & Charlee. Being able to assist the family in locating their loved ones and clearing areas to narrow down the search efforts is exactly why we do what we do. And we wouldn’t be able to do this without our supporters!!! Thank you so much for always supporting our efforts.”
