Paris, Tenn.–The Paris-Henry County Recycling Center will be closed Friday following a fire there Thursday evening. County Solid Waste Director Ron Watkins said the fire started in a skid steer loader. “There wasn’t a lot of fire damage, but we do have smoke damage,” Watkins said. “And it will take us some time to get that cleaned up.” The Paris Fire Department was still on the scene around 7 p.m. and the road leading to the center on 445 Recycling Dr. was blocked by law enforcement.
