Doretta Lynn Vaughn, 60, of Paris, Tennessee, passed away Monday, September 2, 2024, at her residence.
Her Celebration of Life will be at McEvoy Funeral Home from 12:00-2:00 pm on Saturday, September 7th. The burial of cremated remains will be in Memorial Cemetery later.
Doretta Lynn Vaughn was born December 11, 1963, in Chicago, IL to the late Bobby D. Vaughn and the late Laura Ann Lee Vaughn.
She is survived by a daughter, Summer Merrell Duell of California; son, Daniel (Dawn) Merrell of Allenhurst, GA; two sisters: Debra (Gary) DuBois of Las Vegas, NV, and Dianne (Finis) Bell of Paris, TN; four brothers: David, Darrell, and Danny Vaughn all of Paris, TN and Kelly (Bronwyn) Miller of Belvedere, IL; four grandchildren: Hayden Merrell, Keitlynn Duell, Connor Ludlow, and Kellen Smith; great-grandchild, Maverick Smith; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Besides her parents, Doretta was also preceded in death by five brothers: Dennis Jetton, Donald Gilbert, Derrick Vaughn, Earl Usher Jetton, Jr., and Dale Dwight Jetton.
