
Brownsville, Tenn.–Agents with the 28th District out of Brownsville assisted by the U.S. Postal Inspection Service, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation and the City of Brownsville Police Department served a search warrant at a home on Poplar Corner Road in Haywood County.
Agents seized more than 1,000 grams (2-1/4 lbs.) of marijuana, marijuana edibles, 3 vials of morphine sulfate, a felony amount of Lorazepam, multiple weapons, electronic scales, a very large amount of ammunition and $37,990.00 in suspected drug proceeds.
One male was arrested and admitted to Agents that he sold drugs. He is being charged with Possession of schedule II, IV and VI drugs with intent, possession of a weapon during the commission of a dangerous felony and possession of drug paraphernalia.
The man is being held in the Haywood County Jail awaiting arraignment on these charges. This case is being prosecuted by The Office of the District Attorney General, 28th Judicial District, Frederick Agee.
