Springville Home Total Loss After Fire

Springville, Tenn.–A Springville home is a total loss after a fire Thursday evening. The owners were not home at the time of the fire and no one was injured.

Paris Landing Volunteer Fire Department Chief Reggie Coles said Paris Landing firefighters and Henry County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to 75 Nordan Drive in Springville on a report of a structure fire.

Arriving units found a residential home fully engulfed in flames.  The structure was a total loss.  The exact cause of the fire is under investigation, but is believed to be accidental, Coles said.

The owners, Sammy & Debbie Blakeman of Beechmont, Kentucky, were not at home at the time of the incident.  Damage is estimated at $50,000.00.

Paris Landing Fire Dept. responded with 5 trucks and 8 personnel.  Mutual aid was received from the Paris Fire Department which responded with 1 truck and 2 firefighters.  Units were on the scene for 4 hours.
