Joint funeral services for Derrick L. Potter and Elisha Miller Potter are 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 12, 2024 at Brummitt McKenzie Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Friday, 12:00 p.m.-2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Mt Olivet Cemetery, McKenzie.
Mr. Potter, 33 years old, died Saturday, July 6, 2024, from injuries sustained in a motorcycle wreck. He was born in Valparaiso, IN on April 16, 1991 to Brian Potter and Julie Hofferth Potter. He was Co-Owner of Liberty Hardscapes & Excavation, LLC.
He is survived by his sons Micheal Potter and Dominic Potter, his parents Brian and Julie all of McKenzie, a sister Danielle Potter of Portage, IN and paternal grandparents George and Ginny Harness of Hebron, IN.
He is preceded in death by his wife Elisha Potter, a brother Dustin Potter and maternal grandparents Melvin and Rhoda Hofferth.
