Annie-Laurie “Lassie” Thomas Samuelson, 84, of Puryear, Tennessee, passed away Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at AHC of Paris.
Annie-Laurie Samuelson was born Tuesday, June 6, 1939, in Provident City, Texas, to the late Francis William and Marion Clark Schuyler Thomas.
Wednesday, November 26, 1958, she married Robert “Bob” Samuelson, who preceded her in death Sunday, June 2, 2019.
Besides her parents and husband, Annie-Laurie was also preceded in death by her son: Stanley Francis Samuelson; two sisters: Charlotte Grosskruger, and Martha Bergmeier; and her twin brother: Francis W. “Lattie” Thomas, Jr.
Ms. Samuelson is survived by her daughter: Julie-Ann Samuelson, of Puryear, Tennessee; four grandchildren: Robert C. (Jennifer) Samuelson, Knowles (Maegan) Samuelson, Thomas (Samantha) Curlings, and Austin Curlings; 12 great-grandchildren: Charlee and Emmilee Samuelson; Isabella, Knowles, and Juliette Samuelson; Leighton, Lawson, Landry and Lennon Curlings; and Molly, Misha, and Anakin Curlings; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Her celebration of life will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 14,2024, at Buchanan Community Church with Bro. Benny Akers officiating.
Her ashes will be buried later in Shiloh Moravian Cemetery in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin.
