Paris, Tenn.–Ribbon-cutting was held Thursday for the “Destination Paris” mural in downtown Paris, created by Paris Artist Dan Knowles and his apprehentice Sara Candejas. Paris Mayor Kathy Ray said, “I’m so excited at having so many stories told downtown” with the murals that are in place. The “Destination Paris” mural highlights numerous reasons to visit (and stay in) Paris. Knowles said, “We had a lot of fun with this one.” Knowles, along with the late John Monroe, Chelsea Lodge and Jane Baars, has created the downtown murals.
