Suspect In Early-Morning Martin Armed Robbery Identified

 
 
Martin, Tenn.—Martin Police have identified the suspect in this morning’s armed robbery at Huck’s Convenience Store as Zachery R. McClure, age 22, of Mayfield, and warrants for his arrest have been issued.
 
Martin Police were called to Huck’s, located at 424 N. Lindell St., at 5 a.m. today on the armed robbery call.
 
According to Martin Police Chief Don Teal, a store employee said she was in the parking lot sweeping when a white male entered the store. She followed him into the store and went behind the counter.
 
Teal said the male subject then came from the back of the store and brandished a handgun, demanding money. The suspect left the store with an undetermined amount of cash.
 
The suspect was described as a shirtless white male with a beard, with a green shirt wrapped around his head and a white and green striped shirt wrapped around his neck and hanging over his left shoulder. He also has a visible tattoo on his right shoulder.
 
The suspect left the scene in an unknown vehicle.
 
After thorough investigation, police identified the suspect as McClure. Warrants have been issued for aggravated robbery and theft.
