Huntingdon Special School District and The Dixie Carter Performing Arts & Academic Enrichment Center are excited to announce the upcoming art exhibition, the 3rd annual Huntingdon High School Art Exhibition. This juried art exhibition will take place at The Dixie in the Ballroom Gallery.
Huntingdon High School art teacher, Dana Wyatt, received submissions from over 60 students for this juried exhibit which will take place in The Dixie’s Ballroom Gallery. Selections for the competition were chosen from ninth through twelfth grade Huntingdon High School students with the subject matter of the artwork ranging from abstract to high detail realism and includes drawings, paintings, and collage.
The artwork will be on display from Monday, May 6, 2024 through Friday, July 27, 2024. A reception will be held on Tuesday, May 7, 2024 from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. with monetary awards and honors given to the winners during the reception. The artist reception and the gallery is free and open to the public. The gallery is open to the public Monday-Friday from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
