Buchanan, Tenn.–First responders successfully extricated the driver from a rollover accident in the Buchanan area early this morning.

At 6 a.m., the Paris Landing Fire Department, Henry County Sheriff’s deputies and Tennessee Highway Patrol were dispatched to a report of a one-vehicle rollover with entrapment near the intersection of Hwy. 140E and Claytontown Rd.

Paris Landing Fire Chief Reggie Coles said, “Arriving units found a red Chevrolet pickup truck in the ditch laying on its right side. The driver, Tim Page of Dover, said he was not hurt but his legs were trapped.  Utilizing the Jaws of Life, fire personnel were able to gain access to the driver and free his legs. The driver was then able to exit the vehicle with no injuries.”

Heavy rainfall and the wet pavement are believed to be contributing factors to the incident.   Paris Landing
Fire Dept was on the scene for 2 hours with 1 truck and 4 personnel.
