Henry, Tenn.–A patient was airlifted to Vanderbilt Trauma Center with critical injuries after an accident on Hwy. 79S and VanDyke Rd. Friday afternoon. Henry Volunteer Fire Department and Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to the scene on a report of a motor vehicle accident with entrapment around 4 p.m.
The Vanderbilt air ambulance landed on the highway to transport the patient to Vanderbilt.
Also assisting was the Paris-Henry County 911 center, Henry County Sheriffs Office, Henry County EMS, Tennessee Highway Patrol and the local Vanderbilt Aircraft Crew.
The accident report has not yet been released by the Tennessee Highway Patrol.
