UNION CITY, Tenn – Several members and coaches of the Bethel University football team were at Discovery Park in Union City recently taking part in the Youth Leadership Summit put on by the Special Olympics of West Tennessee.
Coach Mike Jasper said, “It was a great opportunity for our guys to give back to our community and not only share the core values that we believe in, but to display them as well. The core values of the NAIA are Integrity, Respect, Responsibility, Sportsmanship, and Servant Leadership. It was an awesome experience for all at the Discovery Park.”
The Bethel University Athletic department has been a Gold Champions of Character School for eight straight years.
