Paris, Tenn.–The Henry County Helping Hand Radio Auction is moving right along, with a year-to-date total of $252,434. Even with only eight slates of donated items, Tuesday’s total raised was $2,595.
Items were donated by Sunnyside, Countrywood Estates, Scene Hill/Castleton Cove, Food Bank, HCHS Fishing Team and TCAT, which included two picnic tables made by the TCAT students.
Wednesday’s items will be donated by Country Club Estates/Nelson/Shady Grove, Paris Landing Community and Resort areas, HCHS Cross Country and Track, Phases to Freedom and American Heritage Girls.
On Thursday, items will be donated by the Elkhorn community, Friends of the Refuge, and CHHAMPS.
Friday’s items will be donated by Easton’s Angels, Thriving At Home Senior Care, Salvation Army, HCHS Baseball, REAL Hope.
And Saturday is another BIG DAY with First United Methodist Church donating items and serving lunch.

Helping Hand runs from January 8 through February 28 and raises thousands of dollars each year for over 90 non-profit and public service organizations. Last year was a banner year, with a record-setting $519,630 raised.
