Paris, Tenn.—A site plan and expansion at the Eurotranciatura facility which will mean the addition of 30 new jobs was approved Thursday night by the Paris Municipal Regional Planning Commission.

Euro Group Senior Manufacturing Engineer Pat Reagan told the commission, “This will be good for us and good for the community.”

The planned expansion involves 51,000 square foot with a finished floor elevation of 543.1 feet. It will immediately serve the facility with a 30-employee occupancy load. The plan calls for two concrete pads on each side of the addition to be used as employee break areas as well as a new truck loading area. Additionally, a 27,217 square foot concrete area will be built to facilitate truck traffic.

Reagan said the Euro Group is working with the Siemens company from Norwood, Ohio. “Phase one is moving successfully and Phase two will be erected by May and then we’ll start moving equipment from Ohio and be in full operation later in the year. We think this will be very exciting for the community,” he said.

City Manager Kim Foster told Reagan, “We’re very excited and completely supportive of what you guys are doing.”
