Dresden, Tenn.–It’s HARVEST TIME on the Weakley County Schools Livestock Program Farm!
Weakley County Schools is so fortunate to have vital crop production partnerships with UT Martin, Weakley County Farmers Co-op, Nutrien Ag Solutions, and Syngenta. Industry experts from these organizations help students everything that goes into planting, growing, and harvesting row crop.
The car horn harvested will be stored to help feed the animals on the farm. The soybeans will be sold and will help with the cost of farm operations and upkeep. Students are learning the physical and financial responsibilities and importance of feeding the world.
