Paris, Tenn.–An ongoing scam has made its way to the Henry County Sheriff’s Office. Sheriff Josh Frey said, “It has come to our attention that scammers are calling citizens of Henry County stating they’re a deputy of the Henry County Sheriff’s Office. The scammer will go on to say you missed a grand jury summons and request your personal information along with payment.”
In no case will the Henry County Sheriff’s Office contact citizens requesting money for a missed summons, he said. Please beware and don’t give you information to these people.
