Mrs. Betty Jane Baggett, 88, of Union City, passed away at 10:52 p.m. Thursday, September 28, 2023, at Obion County Nursing Home.
Betty was born Sunday, February 17, 1935, in Hickman, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Riley and Charlotte (Everett) Reeves. She was also preceded in death by four brothers and four sisters.
She was a homemaker.
She married Laymon Edward Baggett Wednesday, June 26, 1963. He passed away Wednesday, December 21, 2022.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law: Riley and Traci Baggett, of Union City; her daughter and son-in-law: Charlotte and Keith Gabel, of Medina; her sister: Elizabeth Atwill, of Cayce, Kentucky; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Fremont Cemetery.
Brother Chip Davis will officiate.
There will be no visitation and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery at service time.
