
Buchanan, Tenn.–The weather will be great for this weekend’s annual Paris Lakeway Kiwanis Club Arts & Crafts Festival at Paris Landing State Park. It will be hed Saturday and Sunday, September 9-10, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day.
The forecast calls for temperatures in the 80s and no rain. Organizers said 80 vendors will be on hand with a wide variety of hand-crafted items, as well as honey, pickles, muscadine juice, jam, freeze-dried candy, peanut brittle, and baked goods.
They also will have a full slate of food and beverage vendors including Perry’s BBQ, Cash’s Wood Fired Pizza, and Cowboy Kettle Corn. Other vendors will provide Lemonade, Shaved Ice/Sno Cones, Pork Rinds, Funnel Cakes, and Cookies.
They will also have the homemade Ice Cream machine powered with a John Deere hit-and-miss engine (Saturday only).
And remember, this weekend will be especially busy at Kentucky Lake with the Bicycle Race Across Tennessee (BRAT) occuring at Paris Landing at the same time.
