COUNCE, Tenn. – The top twelve boats with the top twenty four anglers in the nation competed Saturday in the Bassmasters National Championship College Fishing Finals at Pickwick Lake.
Bethel University’s Matt Cummings and Levi Mullins had reached the finals after a strong fourth place finish Friday. The Bethel duo topped that with a second-place finish Saturday. With that effort, Cummings and Mullins moved to the Classic Bracket to fish the Bassmasters Classic.
The event marked the 12th straight year Coach Garry Mason and the Bethel University Bass program have appeared in the Bassmasters College National Championships.
