Mrs. Helen Marie Nolen, 85, of Dover, Tennessee, passed away Sunday, July 9, 2023, at Tennova Healthcare Clarksville.
She was born Monday, September 20, 1937, in Monteagle, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Marshall Barber and Hattie Qualls Barber.
Mrs. Nolen worked as a machine operator at Carhart, Inc. in Dover, TN. She attended the LBL Church of Christ. She loved quilting, cooking, and painting. She was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will be missed by many.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband: Raymond Nolen; brothers: J.B. Barber and Aaron Barber; sister: Pearl Cotham; and son-in-law: Randy Dennis.
Helen is survived by her beloved children: Mackie Nolen (Judy), Danny Nolen (Ann), Patsy Holland (Jimmy), and Pam Dennis all of Dover; eight grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Visitation for Mrs. Nolen will be Monday, July 10, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at Anglin Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 11, 2023 at Anglin Funeral Home with Bro. Royce Stewart and Bro. Earl Claud officiating.
Burial will follow in the Hildreth Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons: Jason Nolen, Michael Nolen, Jeffery Holland, Brian Cavanaugh, Cody Dennis, Shae Nolen, Gracin Nolen, and Nicolas Morgan. Honorary pallbearers will be her great-grandchildren.
