Martin, Tenn.–A man was found dead at the scene early this morning in Martin.
At 4:23 a.m. today, the Weakley County 911 Center received a 911 call from a resident on Haygood Rd., Martin, reporting a shooting incident at the residence. Deputies from the Weakley County Sheriff’s Office arrived on scene at 4:28 a.m. and discovered a male with a single gunshot wound.
Weakley County EMS respond to the scene. The victim, identified as Mason Arnold, age 46, was pronounced dead on the scene and was transported to Nashville to the Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy.
Sheriff’s Office Investigator responded to process the scene.
The investigation into this shooting remains ongoing. No charges have been filed related to this investigation at this time.
