MARTIN, Tenn. – The University of Tennessee at Martin athletic department produced another stellar academic performance during the 2023 spring term, combining for a 3.21 cumulative Grade Point Average.
This marks the seventh consecutive semester that Skyhawk Athletics has registered at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA. Overall, 235 UT Martin student-athletes maintained a 3.0 cumulative GPA through the spring semester while 54 Skyhawks collected a perfect 4.0 GPA during the term.
Since the AD Honor Roll program was initiated prior to the 2019-20 academic year, a total of 2,037 UT Martin student-athletes have earned a spot on the list (requiring at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA).
The Skyhawk football team compiled the most AD Honor Roll student-athletes with 32. The UT Martin golf program saw 100 percent of their roster make the AD Honor Roll and was responsible for the highest cumulative GPA (3.51). The Skyhawk equestrian squad accounted for the most student-athletes (nine) with unblemished 4.0 GPA’s.
