Darren Bowling Finalist For Coach Of Year–Again

 
Nashville, Tenn.—Union City High School Football Coach Darren Bowling is once again a finalist for the honor of the Tennessee Titans’ High School Coach of the Year.
Bowling won the award in 2013 and has been nominated several times.

The Tennessee Titans announced eight finalists for the annual award, which recognized high school football coaches who continuously demonstrate excellence in their profession, dedication to their football programs and their focus on the safety and character of their players.
Finalists are:
Darren Bowling (12-2) Union City High School
Caine Ballard (14-0) Greeneville High School
Anthony Crabtree (14-0) Beech High School
Charles Fant (11-1) Notre Dame High School
Derek Hunt (13-1) Maryville High School
Kevin Locastro (12-0) Lausanne Collegiate School
Cody White (11-0) Brentwood Academy
Eddie Woods (13-1) Cane Ridge High School.
The High School Coach of the Year will be announced at the conclusion of the 2017 Blue Cross Bowl state championships and will receive a grant of $2,000 to benefit his football program and receive an all-expense paid trip to the 2018 Pro Bowl in Orlando.
