Paris Couple Arrested On Drug Charges In Stewart Co.

Dover, Tenn.–Two Paris residents were arrested on multiple drug charges after a traffic stop on Hwy. 79 in Stewart County.

Ashley Sisemore, age 36, was charged with simple possession, simple possession of meth and possession of drug paraphernalia. James Paul Gibson, age 44, was charge with simple possession and driving on a revoked license.

Deputy Josh Miller made a traffic stop on Hwy. 79 near Pumpkin Ridge Road for erratic driving. While speaking with the driver the Deputy saw an open container of alcohol. Further questioning of the driver found his license to be revoked.

While talking with the passenger, Sisemore admitted that drugs were present in the vehicle. A search of the vehicle by Deputy Josh Miller and Deputy Aaron Taylor turned up marijuana, meth as well as assorted drug paraphernalia.
