Obion County, Tenn.–Black Oak School’s School Resource Officer John Paul Arnett asked Obion County Sheriff’s Sgt. Tim Wright to bring his K9 Sophia, who holds a great tracking record, to Black Oak to educate students on the difference between a drug dog and a tracking dog. After introductions were made, Sophia showed off her skills by locating Deputy Danny Evans who was hiding on the school’s grounds. Sophia showed very quickly why that nose is pretty famous around here. Obion County Schools officials said they appreciate everything the SRO’s and Obion County Sheriff’s Office do for the school district.
