Helping Hand Radio Auction Now at $278,456

Paris, Tenn.–With the $4,799 raised today at the Henry County Helping Hand Radio Auction, the total now is at $278,456 so far for the year.

Donating items today was the Henry/Bunns community, Senior Citizens Center, Point Pleasant Baptist Church and Open Doors Church. Auctioneer was Jamie Orr, with assistance from Wendy Barnhart. Manning the phones were the members of the Athena Delphian group.the Carl Perkins Center, Country Club Estates/Nelson/Snady Grove; Paris Landing and resort areas; HCHS Cross Country, Phases to Freedom and American Heritage Girls. On Thursday, items are donated by the Elkhorn community, Friends of Tennessee National Wildlife refuge.

On Tuesday, items will be donated by HCHS Soccer, Sunnyside, Countrywood Estates, Scenic Hills/Castleton Cove, Henry County Food Bank, HCHSFishing Team, TCAT. On Wednesday, items will be donated by

Helping Hand raises thousands of dollars each year for over 80 non-profit and public service groups. It started January 9 and runs through March 1. Helping Hand is known for unique and homemade items which often raise large sums.
