Henry County Helping Hand Now At $231,668

Paris, Tenn.–With the $5,065 raised Thursday, the grand total raised so far this year in the Henry County Helping Hand Radio Auction is now at $231,668.

With 22 slates of donations, items Thursday were donated by the Mansfield community, Fairview Baptist Church, HCHS Speech Team, HCHS Swim Team and the Atkins-Porter Neighborhood.

Auctioneer was Noel Hatman with the Paris Quota Club manning the phones.

Friday’s items will be donated by the Paris Soccer Club, Henry Co. Cemetery Committee, Henry County Archives, Henry County Genealogical Society and Henry County Chamber Music Society. On Saturday, items will be donated by First United Methodist Church at both afternoon and evening auctions.

Helping Hand raises thousands of dollars each year for over 80 non-profit and public service groups. It started January 9 and runs through March 1. Helping Hand is known for unique and homemade items which often raise large sums.
