Search Warrant Results In Drug Charges

Paris, Tenn.–A Paris man was arrested on drug charges after the Paris Police executed a search warrant at his home.

Marcus Etheridge was charged with possesion of drugs with intent to sell and possession of drug paraphernalia.

On January 27, the Paris Police Department executed a search warrant at 322 Rison Street. During the execution of the search warrant officers located a large bag of marijuana with a field weight of seven ounces.

Captain Jeramye Whitaker said, “A large amount of marijuana was also located in the toilet where Etheridge tried to destroy it.”

Two sets of digital scales and baggies were also found in the home. Approximately 11 ounces of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and $1,523 of cash were seized.

Etheridge was taken to the Henry County Jail and charged with possession of a schedule VI drug with intent to sell / deliver and possession of drug paraphernalia.
