Ms. Barbara Ann Franklin, 74, died Saturday, January 21, 2023, at The Waters in McKenzie.
She was born in McKenzie Monday, August 2, 1948, to James Paul and Mary Ezell Chesser Townsend. She is preceded in death by her parents, her daughter: Sherry Denise Auvenshine; and a brother: Paul Ray Townsend.
She was a retired factory worker.
She is survived by her daughter: Shelia Auvenshine Boaz; two sisters: Carolyn Sue Townsend and Melinda Mayberry; a grandson: Ryan Hamilton; and a great-grandson: Brayden Hamilton.
Graveside services for Ms. Franklin are Monday, January 23, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the cemetery before the service.
