Mr. James D. Henson, 31, died Saturday, December 24, 2022, at Vanderbilt Medical Center.
He was born in McKenzie on Thurday, April 11, 1991, to James Dell Henson and Geneva Sue Tesneair. He is preceded in death by his grandparents: Woodrow Wilson Tesneair, Shirley Louise Tesneair, and James Dewey (JD) Henson.
He is employed with the City of McKenzie Street Department.
He is survived by his father: James Dale (Debbie) Henson, of Marmaduke, Arkansas; mother: Geneva Tesneair, of Huntingdon; brothers: Cody Lockhart, of McKenzie, Daniel Emerson, of Paris, and Toby Tesneair, of McKenzie; and a sister: Haley Price, of Huntingdon; grandmother: Thelma Henson; uncle and aunt: Wayne and Tammy Dedmon, Uncle Cecil Tesneair, Aunt Edna Murray; niece: Alivia Lockhart; and cousins: Talia Dedmon and Tommy Dedmon.
Funeral services for Mr. Henson are Sunday, January 1, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at Brummitt McKenzie Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends Saturday, December 31, 2022, at 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. and Sunday 12:00 p.m. until service time.
Interment is at Mt Olivet Cemetery.
Pallbearers to serve are Justin Wilkes, Johnny Mercer, Marvin Kalinowski, Cody Lockhart, Stormey Crocker and Isaiah Waynick.
