Hazel, Ky.–Three Hazel residents are lodged in the Calloway County Jail after their arrests on multiple charges, including growing hallucinogenic mushrooms. Items seized included two pounds of mushrooms, ten pounds of marijuana, over 200 packaged marijuana products, guns and drug proceeds.
A search warrant was issued December 21 at a Hazel residence and a grow/drying operation for Psilocybin mushrooms was located.
Seized items included nine active grow boxes for Psilocybin Mushrooms, approximately 10 lbs Marijuana, 2 lbs mushrooms, over 200+ retail packaged marijuana products, 2.5 lbs of additional THC wax, a pistol, a modified sawed-off shotgun and cash. Estimated street value of seized drugs was almost $49,000.00.
