Paris Man Arrested On Drug, Gun Charges

Paris, Tenn.–A Paris man was arrested on drug and gun charges and items believed to be stolen were found on his property.

On Tuesday, December 20, officers with the 24th Judicial District Attorney General’s Office, 24th Judicial Drug Task Force and Henry County Sheriff’s Office conducted a search warrant at the home of Jerry Beane, located at 175 Beane Lane in Paris.

During the search of the home and property, officers located approximately two ounces of meth, one pound of marijuana, 33 guns and $17,000 in cash. Officers also recovered several items that are believed to be stolen from different locations; these items included a boat, bulldozer, mini excavator and four John Deere tractors.

Beane is a convicted felon on several prior charges. All items were seized and Beane was charged with possession of meth with intent, possession of schedule VI with intent, possession of drug paraphernalia, unlawful possession of a weapon and possession of a weapon during the commission of a felony.

He was booked into the Henry County Jail on $500,00 bond. This is an ongoing investigation.
