Santa, Mrs. Claus Arrive In Downtown Paris

Paris, Tenn.—Hundreds of children and adults were on hand to greet Santa Claus as he made his entrance into downtown Paris this morning for the holiday season.
Santa was accompanied by Mrs. Claus, Rudolph and one of his elves as they arrived on the front bumper of the Paris Fire Department’s bucket truck. Kids crowded around Santa as he made his way to his house, which is located on the courthouse lawn. Santa will be in his house today until 2 p.m. Santa and Mrs. Claus also will be at the house each weekend through December 17: Saturdays 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Sundays 2-4 p.m.
Other activities—all free—at North Pole Family Fun Day today include train rides through downtown, a petting zoo, crafts, and “Polar Express” readings.
