Mr. Marion L. Wells, 83, died Wednesday, December 14, 2022, at his residence.
He was born Wednesday, August 2, 1939, in Stigler, Oklahoma, to Whittley and Emma Pearl Hatter Wells. He is preceded in death by his parents, two children: Patty Wells and Bucky Wells; a great-grandchild; and ten siblings: Mandy Wells, Pearl Bell, Gertrude Wallace, Jim Kinser, Shorty Kinser, Bill Kinser, Henry Kinser, Sam Kinser, Buster Wells and Norman Wells.
He is a retired ranch and cattle foreman and attended Solid Rock Ministries.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years: Joyce Enyart Wells; four daughters: Melinda Fisher, of Maricopa, Arizona, Sharon (Bobby) Russell, of McKenzie, Crystal Wells, of Greenfield, and Hannah Wells, of McKenzie; a son: Marion Wells, Jr., of McKenzie, 22 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Marion L. Wells are Saturday, December 17, 2022, at 2:00p.m. at Brummitt McKenzie Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends Saturday, 12:00 p.m. until service time.
Interment is at Caledonia Cemetery, and Bro. Bobby Jordan is the minister.
Pallbears for the service are Marion “Champ” Wells, III, Timothy Russell, Bucky Russell, Evan Wallace, Michael Wallace and David Forrest.
