Paris, Tenn.–The Paris Rotary Club will be holding a Backback Donation Drive Saturday to help the local schools’ backpack programs that help feed students over weekends and holidays.
Rotary members will collect food items to place in the backpacks at several locations in Henry County from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, November 5.
Items that could be donated include Pop Tarts, apple sauce, peanut butter, granola bars, fruit cups, snack crackers, fruit snacks, packets of peanut butter crackers, Teddy Grahams and more. Monetary donations also will be accepted.
Items can be dropped off at Rhea Elementary School, Kroger, all Dollar General stores in the county. Rotarians will be collecting items in person at Walmart, Cash Savers and Lakeway IGA.
