Paris, Tenn.–The Paris Police Department and the Henry County Sheriff’s Department conducted a joint operation on the morning of October 26th for compliance of the Sex Offender Registry.
Paris Police Investigator Jamie James said the operation was to ensure that all registered sex offenders were compliant with the laws and guidelines that they are obligated to follow.
Officers with the Police Department and the Sheriff’s Office went to the home of every registered sex offender in Paris and Henry County to confirm that all information on them was correct and up to date. This type of operation is conducted periodically to keep the registry as accurate as possible.
