Dover, Tenn.–Stewart County Fire & Rescue was busy Thursday afternoon when a log skidder turned over rolled down a hillside and caught on fire. Miraculously, no one was injured, although the skidder operation was shaken up, according to Sheriff Frankie Gray. The accident happened on Moore Hollow Road. Gray thanked Fire Chief Ethan Luffman and his crew for their quick response in extinguishing the fire. “They kept it from spreading into the woods and surrounding fields with the very dry conditions we have,” he said.
