James R. “Ron” Lowe, 75, of Paris, Tennessee, died Wednesday, October 12, 2022, at his residence.
Ron was born Monday, November 18, 1946, in Paris, Tennessee, to the late James A. Lowe and the late Ruth Harris May. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one sister: Cindy Glass.
He retired from ABC Roofing Distribution in Memphis, Tennessee, where he worked as a manager. He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving in the Vietnam War for two years. Ron enjoyed cooking and loved his family beyond measure. He was a member of Bethesda United Methodist Church in Paris.
He was married Friday, September 14, 2012, to Mary A. Perry Lowe, who survives, of Paris.
Along with his wife, he is also survived by three children: Richard (Delana) Lowe, of Waverly, Tennessee, Jeff (Grace) Wright, of Olive Branch, Mississippi, and Vicky (Ellison) Barham, of Independence, Mississippi; one niece: Kim Glass; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and his beloved dog: Otis.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street/PO Box 788, Paris, Tennessee, 38242. The body is to be cremated.
Memorial visitation will be Saturday, October 22, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Ridgeway Funeral Home. The memorial service with military honors will be Saturday, October 22, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. at Ridgeway Funeral Home with John Dale officiating.
