Mrs. Maxene Hunter, 66, of Union City, passed away at 11:59 a.m. Wednesday, October 12, 2022, at West Tennessee Healthcare Volunteer Hospital.
Maxene was born Wednesday, November 23, 1955, in Hickman, Kentucky, daughter of the late Kenneth “Mack” and Angelena (Johnson) Sims. She married Edward Hunter Saturday, November 15, 1975. He passed away Friday, May 14, 2021. She was also preceded in death by two brothers: Joseph Sims and Randy Sims; and one sister: Melinda Sims.
She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by one daughter: Angela Ham, of Kenton; three brothers: Jimmy Sims (Karen), of Fulton, Kentucky, David Sims, of Union City, and Tim Sims, of Union City; three grandchildren: Adyn Whitworth, Kasha Whitworth and Jazper Ham, all of Kenton; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
